Sewing workshop

Several sewing machines are already in use: women are learning a trade and taking their first steps toward self-reliance.

After several months to a year of hands-on training, each woman must be able to work and earn an income to support herself and her family. To make that transition possible, the foundation gives every woman who completes her training a sewing machine, repaid through a staggered micro-loan—a model that extends independence without creating dependency.

Soapmaking — training
Empowerment workshop · 02

Soapmaking — training

As with sewing: train people to make liquid and bar soaps so they can earn an income on their own.

The partner association trains women and men in soapmaking — from measuring ingredients to pouring. The goal is not sales by the foundation, but empowerment: pass on a trade and the means to start one's own activity.

Homework school
Academic awakening · 03

Homework school

Supporting children who are struggling in school or out of school, helping them get back on track and awaken to a brighter future.

The Homework School does not replace public school: it rebuilds confidence in young students, helps them overcome their difficulties, and reignites their love of learning. The goal is not only to catch up academically, but to awaken—in the truest sense of our foundation's name—each child to a future they can imagine again.

Comptoir d'Avenir
Market empowerment · Yaoundé · 04

Comptoir d'Avenir

Helping a woman restart a market trade: first stock of goods, a market stall place, setting up the comptoir — then follow-up until she is fully self-reliant.

The foundation buys the first food goods, finds and pays for a place on a Yaoundé market, and helps install the comptoir so sales can begin. Our teams return regularly to track progress until income lets her restock herself. The project is limited to Yaoundé to maximize this close follow-up.

High-performance filters to purify rainwater and river water, against waterborne diseases that hit the youngest hardest.
